Mark Hamilton responds to our letter ...

On April 20th the Woodspring Tenant Association sent a letter to Hamilton-Zanze, the owners of our formerly affordable, former senior apartment community. On May 3rd, the owner and founder responded. We arranged to meet with them in person on May 22.

Dear Woodspring Tenants Association,

We are writing to acknowledge receipt of your April 20, 2021, received late afternoon on Tuesday, April 27.

Our team has reviewed your letter and understands the concerns shared by you and your fellow residents. We are open to meeting with you to see how we may be able to work together to address these complex issues.

Please know that, during the last 48 hours, we devoted considerable thought to this -- in a meeting yesterday and a number of conversations since Tuesday evening.

As it happens, our team will be at Woodspring on Monday and Tuesday next week — May 3rd and 4th. We have re-organized our schedules a bit and invited additional team members to join in the hope that we can meet with your Woodspring Tenants Association leadership group to start a dialogue. Accordingly, we suggest scheduling a COVID-safe sit-down with a small group of your leadership any time after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, or at a mutually convenient time Tuesday, if that is better.

We appreciate the engagement and look forward to a chance to listen to your concerns. We hope this becomes the first of a series of conversations and efforts to work together toward some solutions.

Please let us know what time will work best for your small group to meet with us, and we will work with our partners at Mission Rock Residential to make sure we have a safe meeting space.

Sincerely,

Mark Hamilton

CEO and Co-Founder
